"Sherman Sharks coach was very encouraging and positive with his players. Backed up the referee when the referee informed a player/parent that no jewelry (earrings) were allowed (or no play), per League rules."
"Field was in good shape. Clear lines and much cleaner than I have seen it before. Parents of our Match were good about staying on their side of the field. Coaches were cordial and followed recommendations on sportsmanship re: goal differential and removal of players from field. Positive, directional coaching on both sides."
"Coaches for all teams showed great mentoring and behavior. There was introductions or hellos before the game and good games after. Parents did well too. One thing I noticed is that Los Tigres Sunday opponent did not cheer for Los Tigres post game. This is something we expect from our team to do for the opposing team. As coaches, we especially think it is important since COVID has taken away the lining up to give a hand shake, which is just a universal friendly way to end a game. We have to bring something back to show friendliness at the end of a game and seems like the cheer is all we have."
